In conjunction with this event, our Second Annual UT Bred Heifer Sale will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025. Pasture restoration after drought: Dr. Bruno Pedeira, Associate Professor and Extension Forage Specialist, Department of Plant Sciences. Director, UT Beef & Forage Center.
9:35 a.m. – 10:25 a.m.
Utilizing genomic testing for heifer selection: Dr. Troy Rowan, Assistant Professor, Department of Animal Science.
10:25 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
